Description
"For reference: my go-to strap is a Cobra Grip Pro. I am very happy with them and it would take something very nice to get me to switch.
So, how did the Keppi do? This is the second set of straps I've used with the angled wrist straps, and they were by far the better of the two sets.
My wrist is 8.0"" and the large works fine for me.
The rubber grip is fairly stiff when new. Will this soften up with time? Not sure yet.
I should also add that I have long hands. As a result, the grip feels short.
If I wrap the grip over the bar, it works fine. If I try to wrap it under the bar, it feels too short.
I find that the angles wrist straps works fine, and actually feel better, to a point. With heavy weight - say over 400lbs, I can no longer use this design. I find that it puts a lot of pressure on my thumb joint.
Overall, I would say these are pretty good. I can sue them for pullups and most back pull exercises.
I won't use them for deadlifts though.
These will not be my go-to choice. They do seem above average though, and I expect that quite a few people would be happy with them."
I’ve been lifting awhile but as I got older my grip just isn’t what it use to be. I never like to use gear such or gloves and grips but man this thing is game changing. First time I used it, I could pull at least 50+ pounds more clean. I had no idea having these things on would make such a difference. These grips and really strong and comfy, totally worth the money!!
"These straps are durable, well made, and definitely help pull heavy weight. I use these on my heavy pull days and they work very well. I have two previous pairs from Versa Grips and these Keppi Grips are just as good if not even better. They are comfortable to wear, built heavy duty, and come with so much more like its carrying bag.
They arrived in a nice box which allows these to be a great gift. It was packaged with a nice carrying case which I also use when transporting these grips in my gym bag to keep them organized. It also came with a nice sheet that explains how to use them and a warranty card. What I especially liked about these that I haven't seen in Versa Grips, is that it clearly labels which strap is for your right hand and which is for your left. It's a small detail but when you're in the gym in a hurry to put these on, the little detail helps. At least it has worked for me. I highly recommend these over other straps. The company's attention to detail in both packaging and product is a plus for me."
These straps are great! So much safer than actual/standard straps that can get caught wrapped around the bar. These work practically the exact same way and give you all the extra grip strength you need to complete your lift. I've used them for a few weeks in the gym and already see a big difference in a lot of my heavier bar bell lifts. Highly recommended!
"These help me to maintain my lifting once my grip/forearm muscles tire. I've recently begun mixing up some of my lifts and found that I'm having difficulty completing my sets because my forearms are so tired and I just can't grip the bar any longer. These wrist wraps have entirely fixed that problem. I typically don't use them until I get to a point in my workout when I'm having difficulty maintaining my grip, so I rarely have them on for more than 10-15 minutes, but this allows me to keep working the major/primary muscle groups longer than I would be able to otherwise.
Very well constructed and comfortable. I've tried two other types previously and these are my favorite."
